Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for all workers with an interest in workplace health and safety, particularly those who have been elected as Workplace Health and Safety Representatives or members of a Health and Safety Committee.
Purpose
This course introduces representatives and committees to the requirements of the Workplace Health and Safety legislation, risk management concepts, consultation mechanisms and methods for improving safety at the workplace.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements, however, participants would have been elected for the role or performing the role of safety representative and possess appropriate literacy and numeracy skills.
