Working safely at Heights

Who Should Attend?

This course is applicable to Managers and Supervisors with responsibility for workers who perform work at heights.  It is  most appropriate for workers who may be required to work at heights and use safety harnesses and fall arrest equipment.

Purpose

The purpose of this course is to provide information about the correct methods of checking, using, maintaining, cleaning and storing personal fall prevention equipment.

Entry Requirements

There are no restrictions on entry to this course, however, participants are required to have sufficient numeracy and literacy skills to read and comprehend instructions for safety at a workplace.

Course Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course, participants will competently demonstrate:

Assessment and Award

Participants who demonstrate competency by passing both the theory and practical assessments will receive a Statement of Attainment 'Working Safely at Heights' in the form of a Certificate. Nationally Recognised Training Logo

Course clothing requirements

Participants must wear trousers, long sleeved shirts and enclosed footwear.
